- This clinic is not a substitute for urgent or emergent care. If you have a concern that requires urgent assessment, please go directly to your nearest urgent care or emergency department or call 911.
- Please do not leave urgent or time sensitive messages. Voice messages will be attended to and returned within 48-72 hours. Please call us during clinic working hours.
- Fees will be applied after a service has been received. We accept cash, e-transfer, debit, and major credit cards.
- When you book an appointment, that time is reserved for you, so missed appointments prevent us from accommodating other clients. A minimum 24-hour notice is required when cancelling an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $50.00.
- Future appointments will be denied until payment is made.

A Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a registered nurse with advanced university education (Masters degree or PhD) and years of clinical experience who provides evidenced based, personalized, quality health care to patients.
Nurse Practitioners can independently assess, diagnose, treat and monitor a wide range of health problems using an evidence based approach to their practice. NPs are authorized to:
- Complete a comprehensive health history and assessment
- Formulate and communicate a diagnosis, taking a differential diagnosis into consideration
- Prescribe all medications including controlled drugs and substances
- Dispense, sell, and compound medications
- Make referral to specialists and other health care providers
- Order and interpret all laboratory tests
- Admit, treat and discharge patients from hospitals
- Order some diagnostic imaging tests such as x-rays, ECG, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRIs
Nurse practitioners are unable to bill OHIP as per Health Canada Act. Therefore, there is an out of pocket fee for the services provided by nurse practitioners. For those patients with valid OHIP card, all the Laboratory and diagnostic testings such as Xray, MRI, Ultrasound, CT, and specialist referrals arranged by the NP at this clinic are covered through OHIP.
Currently all patients with valid Ontario health card, all tests arranged and ordered by nurse practitioners in Ontario are covered through OHIP.
We believe that everyone should have access to timely, convenient, and quality health services that allow them to meet the need of their health and wellbeing. It is not optimal care not being able to make an appointment to see your health care provider or spend hours in the emergency room or walk in clinic to address your health concern in a timely manner. Having accessible and timely health care services is one of the determinant of health. Our mission is to alleviate the pressure on our already strained health care system and provide an alternative option to public funded health services. if this is not the right fit for you, please see your health care provider.
Since this is a private clinic, your doctor will not be charged a fee when you access our services . We are happy to share your test results and collaborate with other members of your health care team to optimize your health care experience.
Patients with private health care benefits may have fee coverage under Private Nursing Services or a Health Care Spending Account. Please contact your insurance provider directly to inquire.
